Community Service

Community Service hours are hours completed by the student seperate from the FFA chapter. Community service is a non-paying job performed by one person or a group of people for the benefit of their community or its institutions. Community service is distinct from volunteering, since it is not always performed on a voluntary basis. In FFA, community service can be used to apply for awards, scholarships, degrees and much more!

This year for community service, Bridgeland FFA will be sanctioning the following:

 Clothing Drive for Women's Shelter
Community Car Wash to fund Thanksgiving Meals for families in need
Angel Tree Project
VFW Hall Garden Bed Project
Dog Walking
Neal's Berry Farm Work-Day
Bridgeland High School Trash Pick-Up
