The Cypress-Fairbanks ISD Board of Trustees approved the administrations recommendation to name High School No. 12 Bridgeland High School during their regularly scheduled meeting.

After being postponed for two weeks due to Hurricane Harvey, Bridgeland High School opened it's doors to it's first group of students for the 2o17-2018 school year.

Breanna Gamble brought home Bridgeland's FFA first District LDE Banner in Greenhand Creed Speaking.

Bridgeland FFA attended it's first day at the capitol in Austin, Texas.

Bridgeland FFA is chartered into the National FFA Association at the 90th Texas FFA State Convention.

Bridgeland Agriculture Department grew from a 1 teacher department to a 3 teacher department.

Bridgeland FFA brought home it's first Northwest District CDE banners in Homesite Evaluation, Horse Judging, Livestock Judging, Veterinary Science, and Wildlife and Recreation Management.

Bridgeland FFA member, Reagon Carter, brought home the first Northwest District Talent banner. 



Bridgeland FFA member, Evyn Barnes, was the first member from Bridgeland FFA to be named a Northwest District Officers, serving as their 2019-2020 Sentinel.





May 4, 2019

Bridgeland FFA's Veterinary Science Team became the first to advance from Area III Contest and compete in the State CDE Contest. The team placed 8th in the state and consisted of Eliana Lake, Claire Lewis, Regan van den Elsen, and Isabel Woo.

Bridgeland FFA brings home it's first Area III LDE banner with it's Radio Broadcasting team, consisting of Jennifer Bray, Kyle Compton, and Thomas Kirkpatrick.

Bridgeland FFA received its first visit from State Officers Carlye Winfrey, Calvin Morgan, and Hollie Berg, leading a presentation for our students in building confidence.

March 2020

Bridgeland High School, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, the state of Texas, the Nation, and the World closed it's doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo canceled, CDE's and State Convention were all moved to an online format and it was announced that in person schooling would not resume for the remainder of the year. In such a time of uncertainty, Bridgeland FFA and it's students remained flexible and continued to make the best out of an unfortunate situation.

Bridgeland FFA students Reagon Carter, Claire Lewis, and Hannah Smith became the first students to advance to the Area III public speaking contest.



May 17, 2020

Bridgeland FFA member, Hannah Smith, became the first student to advance to the Texas FFA State Public Speaking Contest in Junior Prepared Public Speaking.

Bridgeland FFA's first class of seniors, Class of 2020, graduated.

Bridgeland FFA members Evyn Barnes, Kyle Compton, Frances Jackson, Brayden Turner, and Isabel Ward become the chapters first members to receive the Lone Star FFA Degree.

Bridgeland Veterinary Science classes hold their first ever Bridgeland Kennel Club day. The Bridgeland Kennel Club serviced 12 4-legged faculty members practicing their restraint techniques, gathering vitals, and completing a treatment board.

December 2, 2020

The Bridgeland FFA Greenhand Chapter Conducting Team becomes the first team to advance to and compete in the State LDE Contest. The team consisted of Allison Hawkins, Nolan Newcomb, Hannah Eriksen, Ryan Anderson, Misha Bray, Trey Sykes, and Gabby Townsend.



The Bridgeland FFA Greenhand Quiz Team becomes the first team to advance to and compete in the State LDE Contest. The team consisted of Misha Bray, Olivia Cate, Nolan Newcomb, and Jalyn Pinto.

The Bridgeland FFA swept the CFSID Livestock Show Royalty contest with Reagon Carter earning Mr. Show King, Evyn Barnes earning Ms. Show Queen, Lucas Payan earning Mr. Show Teen, and Eryn Barnes earning Ms. Show Teen Runner-Up.

February 2021

Senior, Evyn Barnes, won Reserve Champion Turkey at the 2021 CFISD Livestock Show.

Junior, Marisa Dodson, won Reserve Champion Lamb and Grand Champion Showmanship at the 2021 CFISD Livestock Show.

March 5, 2021

 Bridgeland FFA's Wildlife class held their first annual cardboard boat race. Although members Luke Walston and Lucas Payan lost the race to Mrs. Baird and Ms. Scardino, they were the only students to keep their boat afloat.

April 24, 2021

Bridgeland FFA's Food Science team competed in their first state CDE competition and placed 10th overall. This team consisted of Eryn Barnes, Allison Hawkins, Paden Paulk, and Gabby Townsend.

May 5, 2021

Bridgeland FFA's Reagon Carter and Evyn Barnes became the first members to represent and compete at Bridgeland High School's King Kodiak competition.

August 2021

The Bridgeland FFA chapter became and affiliated chapter with the National FFA Organization, giving every student that is enrolled in an agriculture science course their FFA membership.

October 2021

The Harris County Fair had its first year back and Freshman, Karson Krause, received Grand Champion Turkey.

December 2021

The Bridgeland FFA Greenhand Chapter Conducting Team advanced to and competed in the State LDE Contest. The team consisted of Brea Collier, Sara Bean, Samantha Carlson, Deborah Watterson, Shauna Gottardy, Christina Ma, Chase Mayfield, and Gabby Townsend.

February 2022

Freshman, Karson Krause, won Grand Champion Turkey at the 2022 CFISD Livestock Show.

April 23, 2022

Bridgeland FFA's Wool Evaluation team competed in their first state CDE competition and placed 25th overall. This team consisted of Rhett Barlow, Annastyn Mushinski, Augustus Mushinski, and Cadyn Small.

Bridgeland FFA's Homesite Evaluation team competed in their first state CDE competition and placed 52nd overall. This team consisted of Sara Bean, Samantha Carlson, and Remington Castellese.

April 29, 2022

Bridgeland FFA's Marketing Plan team competed in their first state CDE competition and placed 6th overall. This team consisted of Kenna Morgan, Augustus Mushinski, and Hannah Smith.

Bridgeland FFA's Nursery/Landscape team competed in their first state CDE competition and placed 13th overall. This team consisted of Kennedy Hill, Addison Kelley, and Andrew Kosek.

Bridgeland FFA's Veterinary Science team competed in their second state CDE competition and placed 13th overall. This team consisted of Claire Lewis, Caleb Mann, Jalyn Pinto and Isabel Woo.

Bridgeland FFA began a new tradition where Greenhands are able to place their hand print on the wall to signify them leaving their mark on our chapter.
